In light of the Public Notice issued by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (dated 7 January 2026), we wish to clarify:
As per the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the Trade Marks Rules, 2017, only Registered Trade Mark Agents or Advocates enrolled under the Advocates Act, 1961 are authorised to practise before the Registrar of Trade Marks.
